Productive

I got all I had planned for yesterday done and a little more. I have armoires in two of my kids bedrooms and they have that curved top which I love and hate all at the same time. It is the only high place in their rooms I can put things I do not want them playing with. They love music at bedtime, but during the day want to play with and scratch the cd's. They pretty much wreck the CD players. I have thrown out a few. They look so dorky just sitting there..I also have odd decorations, piggys banks, and flower pots they have made that needed a home. They have just sat  up ther until now. While my kids were all gone yesterday I ran to Home Depot, bought wood , had it cut. I came home and made these. They are nothing fancy but they will work for now. I have plans to fancy up the one in the girls room, but for now it serves it purpose. I am handy with a drill. My husband just thinks I am handy with the debit card. I am good at using that too. Truth be told.......
Before-girls room.

After

I did not do a before in Bubba's room/play room.

They could use a little more sprucing up ,but if I get to handy with the debit card I may be building myself a shelter outside:)

I KNOW you will not be sent to the backyard...L knows how talented you are with other things...like a kitchen, a washer/dryer...and a crying three year old. :)

You've got skills lady!! I"m so impressed (once again)...

What a great solution! I love the cowboy decor too. Sometime when I'm over I want to see the rest of the rooms.
