Our friends and neighbors invited us to a little neighborhood baseball FHE. We had so much fun:):)! baby H is my little wanderer. She always likes to wander away from the group and do her own thing. She was playing outfield I guess, and had some real faith in the the strength of a group of 7 yr old boys. Looks like it paid off that is a ball in her hands.
It was the adults against the kids and I of coarse was in the cheering section with Q-Ball. The boy has a big head and I did not want anyone using it for batting practice!!! It was still pretty hot and he did not complain at all about being stuck in his stroller. Sissy thought that since I brought the camera she would model for me. I am so glad my kids are not sick of the camera yet, because I have a lot of years left to document and I prefer smiles. I realized Lightning and Miss M were to busy having fun to come anywhere near me or the camera. I am sure they are at least in some group shots.
My favorite part of the night was watching my miniature baseball babes.

The best part about being out in the heat playing is six tired kids!!!! When we were done it was bath and bed. I am struggling with Lightning right now and sometimes I am just not sure how to handle the kid. We had such a great fun family time and he has to throw a major wrench in it at the very end. I just have one request as his Mother and I sure wish he would keep his tantrums and fits to early morning and mid day because by bedtime I have nothing left and find myself not handling things as well as I could. I know TUFF LUCK for me. It is what it is and I just hope I am handling this right. We are in uncharted territory right now and I feel like I am sinking.
Hopefully he will remember the great family time we shared tonight and not how he handled and we handled his answer of no to the batting cages!! We did have a great time and I am sure I will sleep well tonight too!!!

Looks like you had a lot of fun even though it was hot out. Cassie is too cute with the baseball helmut on!
Maybe make the batting cages a reward every few months for doing good! Just a thought! Too bad all these kids did not come with instructions and warrenties!

Looks like you had fun! It doesn't look that hot....it actually warmed up into the high 80's here! We're having a heat wave!
Sorry about the tantrums and fits. We have a couple fit-throwers at our house too. It is so great when the end a fun activity with a fit. And you are not alone...I handle the tantrums badly as the day wears on as well...to tell the truth, I don't do well with morning ones either! Hang in there!
Fun FHE! And as for your little guy...yeah, we are going through serious issues here at out house as well...and I have no idea what to do! Let me know if you figure out some miracle cure for grumpiness, moodiness, drama, and all that good stuff! Really, did I need girls??? Thinking of you! :)
