Is everyone tired of hearing about my dog Toby's antics?
I am!!!!!! My husband and I came home from seeing Nanny Diaries( a good movie BTW) last night and guess who got out again. We could not do anything about it last night so we all went to bed. Bright and early this morning. Way to early for me (5:30am) on a Saturday.
Come on kiddo, can't it wait!! I hear Lightning telling GL that Toby is outside. I tell Lightning to go back to bed that if Toby came home he will stay close and when we get up we will put him in the back yard. That was not good enough. Lightning had been worried about him all night. So yep... Mom got up got dressed and w/Lightnings help got the dog put away. I tried to go back to sleep. Tried being the key word. I decided since I could not sleep I would Paint Lightnings old bed and get it up in Miss M's room. It's a good thing I did because hello, tons of rain at my house this morning. My camera did not store the before so all I have are the afters It looks like this...

This bed was GL's growing up. The kids think it is great to sleep in the same bed Daddy did when he was little. I love sprucing up old things. I also painted a matching shelf for the wall. I did not get that up yet. I got six loads of laundry done. All my cleaning done. I got smart today and realized if Amazing A has Sweet G do her Bathrooms on Saturdays why was that not on Lightnings chore list? It is now, and he did a fabulous job.I got so much done today and I just love that feeling:):)

I love to get lots done, too! Way to be productive on not quite enough sleep. The bed looks cute! Glad Toby is back home--again!
great job on the bed--I too love to fix up old stuff--it just has so much more character! And as for that dog--well, I would be ready to scream and yell, but what is a dog lover to do? Just love the dumb thing I guess! :)

Wow! Got a lot done. All that laundry + painting a bed= happy mamma! Love those kinds of days, but I don't get them as often as I'd like. You take what you can get.
