MEMORY MONDAY

Memory Monday is a great idea! People fascinate me and I love to hear their stories. Sorry if mine are boring but, here it goes....See the lovely green skirt I am wearing in this picture. I am sure this skirt is the single greatest cause of embarrassment in my life. When I was serving my mission in Ireland, my last area was Dublin city center.

The blond on my right in the picture was my companion and the first hand witness to my happy event.

Sister H was my last companion and by far one of the funnest and sweetest people I know. We are still good friends. On the day in question we were scheduled from one side of our area to another. We just happened past our flat on our way to an afternoon appointment. I had to go to the Loo. So we stopped in our flat took care of business and proceeded to our appointment. As most companions do we walk side by side. We were walking down one of, if not the most busy street in Dublin at rush hour. We walked that street for 2 miles and headed up the stairs to knock on the door and Sister H sits down and starts pointing at me and laughing hysterically. "Sister D, Sister D (laugh, snort laugh, point and laugh again) Sister D!" I stood there dumbfounded.. What could be so funny that some one would sit down point, laugh and call my name over and over again. She was laughing so hard I was not sure she was breathing. She was laughing so hard she could not speak. I had walked those two miles from our flat to our appointment w/the entire back half of my skirt tucked into my undies Yep..... You may laugh now too. I did not even feel a breeze my cotton G's must have been a lovely sight to all who saw and did not even have the common courtesy to tap me on the shoulder and let me know I was all but (no pun intended) mooning the entire city of Dublin. AHHHHHH sweet memories!!!!!!!

Wow. Bummer for you. Thank heavens you were in a foreign country and would not be recognized today, hopefully!
I have done that walking out of a bathroom, but was kindly warned by the lady behind me. Thanks to that kind hearted woman....
Glad that you shared the story and I LOVE the new papers. Adorable.
