We were blessed to discover Miss E when we moved into our new ward a year or so ago. Due to the fact that 3 of our kids are still foster children, we have to have sitters that are 18 years of age and checked out by the state. Not an easy task. Miss E was eager to help us out. She was an immediate hit w/the kids. She approached me during the summer about needing to work one day a week somewhere while she is in school. She asked if she could nanny/babysit on Fridays. She needs the dough and I need a break. I almost never get out on my own. So Friday fun has begun. It is fun because I actually get out and about by myself and the kids have a blast!! She helps them w/their chores, plays, watches movies,bakes cookies and I could go on and on........She is amazing. I know it is not a permanent arrangement, but I will take what I can get. OOOOOOH the plans I have in mind for Fridays....... I can hardly wait!
