Up To

not to much of anything these days..... You know the usual like

Having your hair cut by your Brother. Not such a bad thing if you are,

addicted to climbing, not very good at it, and wanting to show off your shiner!!It is six different shades of bruised today. Poor kiddo, Oh I take that back STOP THE CLIMBING, remember, I said you might fall.......
Chillin outside at sunset. Great shot Dad!

These two have made pestering each other a sport. I am not really fond of their little past time.

I have had a few chances to scrap some memories,

and relive a few at lunch with some old co-workers and GREAT friends.

SOOOO Much fun:)
Threw Miss M and Sweet K a joint Princess Party for their Birthdays, WHAT? no pics, I have been to lazy to edit them, Oh well.....
Have I told you how much I LOVE our sweet Baby L? No, well I do!!

I Love those peircing baby Blues, I love how she knows how to say Mama and Dada now and who we are. She just loves to cuddle with me. Baby L can call our dog Daisy by her name. I do believe that is her first real word besides Mama and Dada. This girl can eat, and smacks her lips when she is hungry or thirsty. I don't know why this time seems so diferent. I feel like I have tons of time to sit and play with her and to just love and cuddle her. The last three are so close in age that I feel like maybe they did not get all this attention. Maybe they did, maybe I was too tired to rememeber giving it to them? I do remember having three in diapers though. I am sure that memory will not fade soon enough...Her little spirit is so tender and I just want to hug and squeeze her all the time. What a blessing to our home this cutie patootie is!!

We Caved....

We let Lightning have a Mohawk. He only gets it for the week. He doesn't care, we are all of a sudden parents of the year. What? we are not always totin that title? Not by a long shot, but we will take what we can get. Like all overly obessed Moms like me must do. I took pictures and while I was editing them he was bustin out all these crazy suggestions as to what I could do to the pictures and I was nodding and really just ignoring his antics. He finally had enough and said, "Don't you get it? I want one of those pages with all the bows and stuff you do." Ohhhhhh, silly me, he wants me to scrapbook it. No problemo, DONE.......He sat by me and picked out what he wanted and even helped me arrange things. I took veto power at some points, but all in all he designed a fun page and he wears his Mom's very first and very lame attempt at a mohawk pretty well, don't ya think

Reasons to Smile

Friends:
I have great friends.
Adoptions:
Getting closer and closer to finalizing Bubba's and Sissy's adoptions. Should have a court date here pretty soon.
Clean laundry:
Not excited to put it away, but I can look inside the laundry room and smile because at least half the battle is won for this week.
Reading:
I LOVE to read! You never find me with out a book.I catch any spare moment to read. I read to my kids every morning and night.Even if it's only for a few minutes. Miss M asked me the other day why I read. I told her about all the places I've been, adventures I've gone on, people I have loved, and lessons I have learned. Wanna see what she loves too?

Look at her mimic the emotions in the book.I LOVE it!!!!
(poor quality pic, I was trying to be sneaky.)

Some Days

You just gotta let it all go, so I did.
I let the laundry go, the kitchen, and my dirty bedroom. I did what I had to do to get by. Instead, I caught up with old friends. Talked to family and close friends throughout the day. One of my Little brothers stopped by. My kids love that. I went out with the kids and played in the yard. I have the allergies to prove it. Why do I think I need to be down in the grass too? I sat at the piano, Bubba nor I can play, and pounded away at the keys with him. We sounded fabulous, let me tell ya.......While I was on the phone talking I got a lot of these done. I am a little rusty, it has been a while. At least I feel like I spent time with my kids and still got something accomplished.

PHOTO CHALLENGE

These talented ladies have photo challenges. I usually check out their blog and wonder man how do they do that? I love when my google reader says they have posted some more. I decided to do their challenge for the first time this week because the challenge is one I can actually feel confident in doing. Taking a picture and changing it to black and white. The day I got my new camera I was officially bit by the photography bug. It is a great creative outlet. My crafting days are over for a while. I am no fool, I will not be bringing out paints and crafty items only to see them destroyed or lost while I take a pottie break or help a kid or answer a phone. Digital scrapbooking and photographs are things my kids can not destroy while I am working on them .I love that!! Photography challenges me in a lot of ways and I am having fun learning. I also love how a decent photo makes my scrapbooking pages look so much better. If you haven't already go check out their fun blog and ooh and awww over their talent like I do.

THIS IS WHAT I DO

when I am still not feeling well and our kind neighbors take the 3 oldest to church for us and Layne has to work on a Sunday. He rarely has to work a Sunday so it's a bummer it fell on a day I am not feeling so hot and I am never willing to go it alone for sacrament meeting. I LOVE my ward and the people in it. They are all so willing to help us out. The Mc Clures volunteer to take Sissy and Miss M every week during sacrament meeting and we love them for it.It was just me and the three littles at home and they hung out with me while I got some pages done. I am no where near caught up but it feels good to have got this far. One positive thing about not feelin so hot.I am feeling better and better as the day goes on so maybe tomorrow I will be my usual self again. I hope!!!!
