Our new addition

Mr. M and I were not sure we were going to be doing this (foster care) again. Taking in children also means opening our doors to a myriad of extra people. People are not something we are short on around here. The long and the short of it is there are children and babies sleeping in CPS offices in the sate of AZ. Not enough foster homes. That just makes me sick to my stomach. We are licensed and have room and love. We may not adopt again, and then again if we feel it is right we will. I believe in God and his plan for his children. I don't know what this guys plan is, but we will love him for as long as we have him.We have had him for about a month now. He is a pure joy. He laughs and smiles. He sleeps through the night and my kids just love having a baby around. He soothes some rough edges and brings more kindness into our home. He just seems to bring out everyones softer side. We call him Buddy and we love him to pieces. Seriously, look at him, what's not to love?

He is beautiful. You and your husband are special people. I would get so attached that I couldn't give the baby back. I am a little territorial. I also agree with you, it would drive me nuts to have extra people (social workers ect.) dropping by my home.

This really is cool. I had no idea there was such a need for foster care.

he's perfect! And you and your husband are amazing! My sister does foster care here as well...and it is just amazing to watch! It takes a very special kind of person to be a foster parent.....truely and angel from heaven! Thanks for all you do for these sweet little spriits! :)
PS--is it bad that I secretly hope you get to keep him??? :)

angels tend to do that....laugh, smile, sleep, bring out the kindness and love.

Sleeping through the night?! WOW. This post makes me want to do foster care. Should we?

What a sweetheart. I was just starting to wonder if I'd ever see another "new baby" update to the blog! Happy to see that 8 isn't always enough, hehe. ;-) The more the merrier, and I'm glad he's fitting in so well!

I love you and your big heart (and you DH as well). I think this is why people love you so much because you are just so full of it- LOVE!
