I am working on becoming a better summer Mom. I am trying my best to handle the conflicts with patience. I am sure the heat has zapped me of all sanity. It has been particularly hard this week.
Going on a family vacation soon. That should help! Cooler weather here we come....I am pretty sure I need a summer home. Not going to get one, but when it gets over 115 outside I KNOW I need one.
I accidentally gave Bubba a black eye. See, told you... really I poked him in the eye on accident. He woke up the next morning with a shiner. I want to cry every time I see it. I apologize and kiss his sweet face. He loves all the extra attention. I bet he wishes I would poke him in the eye more often.
The low point of the week, My little Miss drank out of the toilet. Yep Mr. M found her in the act. Guilty as charged, toilet water dripping from her chin and a wet forehead. Grossed out yet? Yep, I wanted to throw up, still do if I think about it too much.
I woke up this morning to the sweet sound of silence. What? Oh a dream come true. No fighting, no tattle telling, no hitting. Here's hoping this catches on like an epidemic.
P.S. I love this kid. She brings peace to our home. I think if she had an indian name it would be, "little miss plays well alone."
