Our Dad left work early and helped calm a scared girl during her ER (post below) visit. She has always been a Daddy's girl. They have had a special bond from the beginning.
Our Daddy makes us breakfast every day.
He brings special surprises home from work sometimes.
Has a tender heart when his kids are hurt.
Does his best to rearrange his work schedule for programs, sports and dance recitals.
Loves to cuddle and let them know they are loved.
Does the dishes with out being asked.
He is always there showing by example the way to serve.
He hung out a 2nd night in the ER with Tankster when he gave a good scare by trying to stop breathing twice. Darn croup was really constricting his airway.
He stayed home with the rest of the crew for our 3rd ER visit for Tanksters broken elbow.
We are done with the ER! This was the first smile we have seen in a while. Yay for a cast and good pain meds. Last night was not so pleasant.
A 3rd unexpected trip to the Er spoiled all my plans for Father's Day. Heck my entire week went to pot about Tuesday. It was all down hill from there. This left me hangin, how was I going to manage to pull it off. My dear friend texted me and offered to do this for me. It was almost midnight before I able to leave the hospital and swing by her house to pick them up. She made one for my Dad too.

Daddy went to pick up some meds this morning and when he returned home we surprised him.Miss M was prepared with a bag of his favorite doughnuts. Hopefully his day will not be a total loss. We sure LOVE him a lot around here and want him to know it!!!
Not to jinx it, but next week has to be less eventful. It just has too.....

Oh my goodness, you need a break from Summer break!! Hope the next few weeks are easier for you, or at least no more ER trips. Happy Father's Day to Mr. M, he's a great dad!

Oh goodness, i just can't believe it. I thought 2 times was crazy, but 3! poor you :(
