Multiple personalities and other messes

I just realized when I am commenting sometimes I am Diaper Diva, and sometimes Ordinary Miracles.  The truth is out, I clearly have multiple personalities...... I owe all the credit to Blogger and Yahoo. I tried to export my blog to a new address and change all my email junk for a couple of reasons and I have had no success. My Yahoo account was hacked and I can get 40 emails in spam at once. I am ssssssssssssssoooooooo tired of it. I tried to shut that email down completely and blogger will not let me change. I am sure if I had some extra time I could finally get it worked out, but with life and all it has taken a back burner. So I will try to pay closer attention to my identity issues and get them resolved.

Want a flood update? I am sure you don't, but seriously I am going to need to remember how fun stressful this was.
This bad boy is the reason for,

a huge mess. See the rusted top, which does not look as bad when covered in concrete dust.I would like to point out the the dumb choices in installation.
#1 Does not have it's own closet.
#2 You want me hang clothes where?
#3 Pipes not placed up against the wall if they had to share a closet with clothes, ICKY!!
#4 placing carpet up to and around rusted plumbing devices.
If you were to try and wiggle those pipes to hard you could pull them right out of the ground. The connection at the lid is completely rusted out.
I would like however to give Tankster his due credit. Thank you son for unplugging the sump pump and  digging as far into Mom and Daddy's pockets as any kid has with a stunt so far. To my credit I did put a train table in front of the closet doors but I guess my one year old had the last say in that decision didn't he? We love him and when everything is done I may actually thank him. Right now, I am just stressed and my OCD goes into overdrive when I have to live in a construction zone.
Good times I tell ya......

Notice the freshly painted walls from just a month ago.
This is the new pump below, or at least where it's new home will be. If it ever floods again it will not be because a kiddo got to it.It will flood into my window well. My brother is a genius I tell ya. My closet will be my own. I am actually going to take advantage of the not planned mess and move my two older girls into this room. I am just going to decorate it the way I want cuz we are in this deep anyways. I will make their room now the new play room.

My sweet brothers did all this work. We have teased about the smell of the day. Could I market the sewage smell? Probably not.... Could I market the bleach, my house smells like and swimming pool with too many chemicals smell? Ummm no! Maybe I could market the gasoline smell from the wet saw? We could call it Truck Stop, any takers? Just rolling with the punches around here. Jack hammers, saws, and sledge hammers have become our daily background noises. I think after more than a week we are close to finally getting to the put back together stage of this mess.  Hopefully within two weeks we live like normal folks again. I will let you know.

At least this didn't happen in the summertime (thinking of a positive here) for so many reasons. How wonderful that you have your family to help you out and can't wait to see the final result.
