Just not enough

Time.......
Time for blogging these days.
We have been enjoying our family and friends. Dinners and Christmas get togethers. Gingerbread houses, sugar cookies, pulled pork sandwiches, dance recitals, and gymnastics performances.Kentucky fried chicken, and time at the park with grandparents. Dinners out to celebrate graduations. We have been enjoying neighbor treats we never seem to be able to reciprocate. I am not good at neighbor treats. Preschool Christmas programs where I do believe no child's nose went unpicked during the performance. Birthdays I have neglected to post about. I think I have some catching up to do. I have captured hardly any of this with my camera because I have been so busy capturing others and I am enjoying that too.Today I will finish up any last minute Christmas odds and ends and start deep cleaning my house because it NEEDS it, and because I am hosting Christmas here for the in laws. Now I know they do not expect me to, but I am OCD and I need to do it for me.Some thing inside me makes me think no celebrating should happen when a dirty bathroom is near by. Plus if I don't get some of my own laundry done and not just the kids, I may be hosting Christmas in my Adam and Eve wear if you catch my drift. I do have a cute red and black apron with lips all over it, maybe that will do?  That wouldn't make anyone uncomfortable, would it? I am enjoying waking up to my kids singing Christmas carols and talking about Santa with such excitement. Even more I am enjoying their talk about our Savior. Sweet K this morning told Wild Thing. " The reason we have no school is to celebrate Jesus cuz God gave him to us and he gave us our bodies and we need to think of him so we have no school." Sooo sweet.... That is my Sweet K, her spirit is so tender and she is the constant reminder in our home of the true reason for this season.
