Shuuuuussshh....

Don't tell him it wasn't really his Birthday! Don't tell him it was his Birthday at all, he doesn't want one.   He really didn't even want a Birthday. That is all he kept telling me.  "I  DON'T WANT A BIRTHDAY!!" He was serious. We would sing and he would scream at us not to. By the evening of his fake Birthday ( had to celebrate a day early.) he had finally got into it and was excited to have his cake and presents. I tried to keep the fun feeling going on his actual Birthday and I got shot down then too. I know part of it is just his "issues" as we lovingly call them. So we ignore a lot of his need to be oppositional. It made me kinda sad, I was really hoping he would be excited about his big day. He did love his dump truck. He also loved his water toys from our great friends so I think we can call it a sucess. I was out of town on Bubbas Birthday so I took them both out and got some Birthday shots. I am glad he cooperated for those. Happy Birthday Wild Thing!! You have earned your name.

Still is....

 My first blue eyed baby. He was dropped off on my door step by his Bio Mom who never returned to pick him up. He has many challenges  to face because of her choices during pregnancy and his first few months of life. He has the sweetest personality though, and all who get to know him love him. He loves his Aunt Marnie and when he's in trouble, he asks for her. He talks like a five year old and throws tantrums like no two year old I have ever met before.He loves his Brothers and the minute they leave him he is immediatley expressing how much he misses them. He loves to be cuddled. He loves to be tickled in his bed at night. He can say his own prayers and boy are they soooo stinkin sweet. I can't wait to see what this year brings.
