Snapshots From the Edge
of insanity...... We had a wonderfully insane Christmas. I can not believe the difference from last year to this year. Having a 2 year old and two 3 year olds to celebrate with is a blessing and curse. A blessing because their innocence and joy is so contagious and so is their greed and inability to fully understand sharing and what toy actually belongs to them. We had some rough times this year but the good always out weighs the bad. As I think about my blessings this year I am so grateful to call them mine. Mother hood has been a different road for me than for most and as the chaos ensued and the millionth fit was resolved, I remembered a time I never thought I would have little ones of my own to celebrate Christmas with. A dear friend of mine said to me once. "I may not get to do this (having children) to many times, so I told myself I am going to enjoy every moment even the hard ones." Thank You Sheri for those words of wisdom you may not even remember saying, but they have stuck with me and I try my best to remind myself of them when the road gets hard. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would go from zero to seven kids in 4 years! Those words ran through my head a lot this crazy Christmas.I looked around me and realized just how precious each child of our Heavenly Father is a how It's ok if each Christmas is as crazy as this one was, it is all worth it!!

Priceless :)
I've adopted that same way of thinking in my life. They grow up way too fast.
Your card was seriously one of my favorites this year. Love the personality in that pic.
I know it may be chaotic at times- but dang those kids are cute!!! I always tell everyone I know how amazing I think you are. Those kids are blessed to have such a great family to belong to. The Lord knew they belonged to you! Glad you had a good Christmas. I love you guys!
On the other end now, I wish I had enjoyed the chaos a little more. I was recently watching an old family christmas video, and am so sad at what an impatient mother I was with my little ones. I sure wish I knew then what I know now.....I love your attitude, and your children are lucky ducks!
holy hannah are you kidding me with the 7 kids??? you need to change your blog name;) you guys are a beautiful family and those pics are priceless.
I LOVE that picture! It would be so boring if they were all looking at the camera smiling. You will love it too. It is a great shot of the struggles and rewards you are experiencing. Priceless.
