OK, I'm Going In

But first, I am going to need one of these

I don't care about make or model. I am not going in again with out one!! That is how I feel every time I head into my kids bathroom. I have never potty trained a boy before and even though I trained him to pee sitting down he has managed to leave his mark and I am grossed out!!!!. I must go in and clean the dang room twice a day and still feel like the stench will not leave. Time to scrub the grout with bleach. I threw out the Lightning Mc Queen padded seat. It holds a stench, YUCK!!!

SERIOUSLY. I am so happy he is potty trained. He is dry at night and during naps now if he could just learn to aim that thing correctly we would be in business. I was talking to my Mom about it and she asked if I remember how we trained my five little Brothers. UH, I am sure I have blocked that out!

My Mom had them crawl on the toilet backwards, which gives them more room to aim and they can see better what they are doing. My kiddo is talented and manages to bounce it off the back of the toilet and all over him and the bathroom. Dang I guess I just get me a suit and keep cleaning.....

I know!! I just don't get it!! And the one that's closest to the ground splashes the most! Drives me bonkers. I told all my boys yesterday, "Just because you can pee standing up, doesn't necessarily mean you should." Only two of them found that funny. Luvpilot doesn't find my complaining about the potty humorous....I'm thinking maybe he should have to clean it up then.

I'm right there with ya girl! Which is why having a 12 almost 13 year old in the house is AWESOME! I no longer have to step foot into that "Third World Country" they call a bathroom and clean it. It's the most wonderful thing ever.

It is times like this that I am grateful I only have one boy but with that said, he doesn't know how to NOT pee everywhere, I think its part lazyness and the fact that he holds it until the last minute so as soon as the pants drop, he is peeing everywhere, I make him clean it up, he made the mess, not me.

I dont get it either, but kade does seem to do better when I drop a cheerio or a fruit loop in the toilet and he aims for them! And hey what little boy doesnt like going(only #1) in the backyard somewhere! Saves a mess in the house:) LOL:)

I know how you feel...it is absoultely gross. And my bathroom used to smell like a urnal. I told Shane that if he couldn't get the boys to aim right, than he was cleaning the tiolet. And I told the boys that if I ever found pee anywhere but the tiolet they would have to clean it up. Try cheerios, tell him to aim at those and make a game out of it!

I got one of those seats for the potty and when potty training, the pee always gathered between the seat, so when I lifted the seat pee would flow to the ground. So Nasty.
