SPEAKING OF FUN

I got to have some more today. My Sister and her willing husband brought their cute kiddo along to Mill Ave and let me take some pics. I love that it is FINALLY cooling off and it is not miserable to be outside.
You know what else is fun? Having your Kindergartner expelled from the bus for a few not so nice choices. A boy was spitting at her and she spat back and then another boy was and has been calling her names and when she got off the bus on Friday she kicked him where it counts. While I am glad the boy got some of his due, I am well aware that her way of handling things is not going to solve anything. I am trying so hard to teach her to find the nearest adult or responsible person to help her. Apparently the buss driver could not be bothered to keep bully's away from the little ones. Some how not having to ride the bus for two days and get picked up from school seems like more like a treat than a punishment MMMMMHHHH??????

And I can't believe Miss M got kicked off the bus...it does sound more like a treat to me too.

Great job on the photos....and wow on the whole bus thing! I have to admit I LOVE living 3 blocks from school and to NOT have to worry about the bus....way to go for her standing up for herself!!!

Cute pics!

And I secretly love that Miss M stood up for herself. I have a feeling she'll do okay in this world.

Well, I am glad to hear that she stood up for herself since the bus driver didn't intervene!

Love the pictures!

Have fun with your sister-

I am thinking I need to hire you to take some family pics for me.

I think I would have a talk with the bus driver, how does this solve the problem with the other kids? It doesn't, it just teaches your daughter that people can be mean to her and she gets in trouble. It's hard sometimes as a parent to bite our tongues because I know I would have told her "Good Job, I hope you hurt him". Good for you for telling her the right way to handle it next time (hopefully there won't be a next time).

And I love that Miss M stuck up for herself, sucks that now you have to drive her though!
