FALL BREAK

We had to put our thinking caps on when it came to fall break. How are we going to keep these kids busy.I don't mind hangin at home but I do mind tons of T.V and mindless video and computer games being played. We just got home from vacation and do not want to spend any more money. Lightning has been saving bread scraps all summer long so we headed to the park to feed the ducks and ourselves. The park was all ours. We had a family breakfast compliments of Ronald Mc Donald and Dad of coarse. Why did I not think of this sooner? Breakfast is usually our family meal time together each day because we never know when Dad will be home in time for dinner. So this worked perfectly and we all had a splendid morning enjoying the cooler morning weather and each other. I am sure the ducks loved having us around as well because Lightning had a decent sized collection of stale scraps for our quacking hungry friends. We love having Daddy around he is so much fun to play with. Wild Thing did not think he was to cool when Daddy stole his swing and caught some air time for himself. Mommy did not think Wild Thing was so cute this afternoon when she opened the door to get the babies out of bed from their afternoon slumber and was greeted by the young chap, pantless and carrying his blanket with him on his great escape. I hunted high and low for his britches and could not find them anywhere. It finally hit me to check the dresser and wouldn't you know it...my kind little man had put them away. Sure wish he and the other cute hooligans would figure out how to do this with their toys!!! I would have it made. He has a nice huge bruise on his back I found while changing him into PJ's. I can only assume came from a fall out of the bed. Maybe he will wait a while longer to try this particular stunt again. We are off to visit a farm tomorrow with our cousins. We will be back to tell you all about it!!
