A DAY ON THE FARM

It was more like two hours and how sad that a farm is a novelty to most American children. My kids loved it and were amazed that me and my sisters had milked cows and gathered eggs and even participated in the demise of quite a few chickens that we had the pleasure (sarcastic) of plucking the feathers out of. They love that G-ma D grew up on a farm. We went with three of my sisters and most of their kids. I was impressed that my kids were so brave with the animals. Bubba was having a great time scaring the cows. Only a few would actually let you near them. They did get to pet a calf that was less than 24 hours old.

This guy here is from channel 12 news and asked to interview my sister Cajsa. I am going to be checking the news to see if she is a temporary star this evening. Thanks KayDee for the fun idea. It was so fun to hang out with my sisters and my kids always love to hang with their cousins. I am beat, tomorrow will be a stay home day for me. I am done chasing kids for at least a day. I have not gone grocery shopping in 3 weeks and old Mother Hubbard's cupboard is all but bare. I better spend tomorrow getting my messy life back to some kind of order.
