THE WONDER OF

These babies..... CRAYONS!!!! I would now like to thank the inventor
and creator of all crayon products!! They create hours of peace and contentment at my house. They help me out at restaurants when I am visiting with my best friend from high school. They help me at church when I am desperately trying to learn and feel the spirit. They are versatile in their use, some times we try to make lipstick or lunch out of them and sometimes we try to do murals on the walls. That brings us to a whole other arena of thank yous we will not go into right now. They help us learn about things and people. They bring favorite characters to life right in front of our eyes. Oh this mommy is loving these crayons lately !!!!!!

Crayons are a wonderful thing! I love all the masterpieces that are created from them! I especially love the time they give me to finish something around the house and keep those little fingers occupied:)

I agree- best invention ever. Amazing how long kids can be occupied with crayons and paper.

Oh yes. And when they're older, washable markers are another great invention. I love it when Connor's being artsy crafty and making all kinds of things for me.

Here is a fun idea for the broken ones. Take the paper off of them and put them in a muffin pan with alum. muffins papers. Melt in the oven at a low temp. When they cool and harden they are huge crayons with multi colors and really fun.

I love them too!!!! They keep Katherine entertained for a good chunk of time and she is always so proud of her work. Even better than the crayon-the washable marker-yes we have had a few beautiful pictures on the walls and washable markers come off so easy.

They are the best! We love them at our house too! If only I could get them to stop peeling off the paper and leaving it everywhere. It is worth the peace and quiet!

I love crayons too.....we seem to have the big bucket of them on the table all the time. Have you ever let them melt the broken ones in the cups of a muffin tin to make a big rainbow crayon chunk of fun?!

As for all things crayola....nope, I pass on the markers(even washable) because it's still too big of a mess to clean up! And paint...ugh, I don't enjoy paint. But they do so I put up with it.

I wish crayons entertained my kids at church. Unfortunately, they use them as either weapons or noisemakers. Presently, I have banned everything but the Friend from being brought to church.
