three new additions to our home. I must have been really tired and or delirious from lack of sleep on Wednesday. I saw a guy on the side of the road selling turtles and I bought one each for Miss M, Lightning, and Sissy. We left them in their little plastic home until Thursday morning and then we cleaned out the old Guinea Pig cage and filled it with sand from the sand box, some water dishes, and made our own little Turtle Bay. It was so much fun doing it together and I was Mommy of the year, if only for a day:) Turtles are very low maintenance pets. That was a huge draw. They certainly do not replace our dog Toby who ran away a couple of weeks ago, but will do for now. I am NOT getting another dog again any time soon. It was time to cut the boys hair so Layne did that Thursday morning and Smileys face itched so the poor kid was a comedy act. He kept trying to wipe the itchy hair off of his face and of coarse would just get more and more all over him. He was miserable but HILARIOUS to watch. Don't worry we put him out of his misery quickly. We gave Q-Ball his first haircut since moving to our house and he was such a good boy!!
Later that day Sissy had a visit w/her Bio Family and we had it at Jeepers. I was NOT impressed. It was not very clean. The rides are more fun than Amazing Jakes though and my kids did not care, they had a blast!:)
When we got home we got ready for bed and I hear some body in the kitchen but did not worry to much about it until I realized the new trick Baby H has learned. She knew she was in trouble the minute she saw me and turned on the pouting and crying instantly. Nice trick kiddo. It won't work w/me. Just because you had a rough beginning to your week does not mean I will take pity on you now!!

Our next exciting event was being LOCKED OUT of the house when we got home. Thanks to me!! I had given my babysitter a key to the house and forgot to put it back on my key ring. OOOPS and SORRY!!!!! My Brother has a spare key so we quickly called him. We manged to find a way in before he had to actually come and rescue us. (Not gonna post that on the Internet!!) I may forget a key sometimes, but I do not give burglars secrets to getting into my home! I can hear the fireworks as I am writing this post. We did not go to any fireworks. It is tooo dang hot for my babies and me.It just makes for a grumpy group of people. We are headed to Heber tomorrow for their show. If you have never gone it is soooo worth it. The wait is much cooler and my kids love to play while we wait. There is food and the show lasts MUCH longer and is way BETTER than any I have ever seen in the valley. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a wonderful 4Th!!!!!!!!!!!

That has been a crazy busy week, and especially if Baby H was sick! I do hope that she is feeling better for the weekend!
Those turtles are too dang cute, I know my boys would be all over that. Our dog ran away 2 years ago and I am just not ready to get another one. They are a lot of work and my boys keep me busy enough right now! :)
Enjoy your weekend!

Wow, turtles?! You are a good mom. We have one pet at our house, o dog, and I can't wait until he bits the dust. Then we are DONE with any sort of pet!
My poor deprived kids. They don't even like the dog though, so methinks they won't care! ;)
OK- I want to know how the turtles do. That is one pet I would be willing to have.
