TOY STORY MANIA

Last week my friend Melissa called and she had won a contest at Disneyland. she won early admittance onto the the new TOY STORY ride at Disneyland. She asked if we wanted to go and HECK YA we did!!!! We made all the last minute arrangements and off we went. My kids LOVED it!! It is all Lightning can talk about since we came home. He tried California Screaming and was not happy about it! I told him I would pay him to go on the ride. (oops) Maybe not my best Mom move. We spent most our time in California Adventure and the kids begged to play in the water so we let them. They were nice and miserably cold afterwords. Layne took Sissy's clothes off of her to dry and we covered her with a blanket while we waited for the parade. Layne decided to be a human clothes dryer and then I found him sleeping on the job. The poor girl the clothes were still not dry when we got home last night. I had to pack them damp.
The main reason we stayed in CA was for Smiley, he needed to see his best friends Lightning Mc Queen and Mater. He has several of them and has a car character with him at all times. Nobody best be trying to remove the toys from his iron grip because you will have FIGHT on your hands and it is ugly. It was so fun to see how excited he was to see his hero's. When the parade was over he was waving at Mater and saying "Goodbye Mater Goodbye" Seeing how happy he was made the whole trip worthwhile. Thanks Melissa for thinking of us. Our whole Family had the best time and the kids all slept in today:0)!!
