Is anyone else as tired as I am???? I know, I am a wimp. I love the staying up late and all the FUN is totally worth it, but it kicks my butt the next day. That just means I get to nap with the kiddos today:) I decided Lightning and Miss M need to find a place to have a sleep over every Bunko night because the morning after is so much more quiet and peaceful. Thanks Mom and Aunt Denice for taking my cute kiddos for me and Melissa for all your help!!:) Here is that recipe for the Tomatillo (green) Salsa.
1 large can of tomatillos (28oz)
1/3 cup sugar
one small stalk of cilantro
2-3 teaspoons of jalapenos(canned or fresh)
1 medium sized onion
Place tomatills and 1/2 can of the juice in the blender. Add sugar chopped onion and jalapenos. You can use fresh jalapenos or more if you want it spicy. Pull leaves from cilantro and add to blender and mix.
The red Salsa is my Sista-in-laws recipe and if you want some she sales it so let me know I can hook you up!!:) She also sales a Tomatillo Salsa similar to the one I made.

I forgot to ask you about the firework show you talked about last time at Jenny's, where was that at? I thought you said in Payson but I'm not totally sure.
Thanks.

I was just watching Martha on Fiday (a HUGE treat that I only get when the boys are away) and they were making some of this salsa and I thought it looked so good...I am glad you have this recipe & I am going to try it out!!!
That sounds so yummy! Where oh where do you get canned tomatillos? Let, me guess, everywhere in AZ....I'll have to try and search them out in UT. My sis is coming up in a couple weeks though, so if my search is fruitless, I'll have her go get some there and bring a case of them up to me!
It was so much fun! I really loved your house, and seriously need help in the decorating department.
I can't wait to make this salsa myself! All of the food was so yummy!
