ANOTHER GOODBYE

This sweet girl Lucy passed away today. She is the daughter of our friends Vic and Molly Jackson. She passed away due to complications from choking on a apple. This has hit me hard. My little Haley is the same age and I am so grateful for the sweet gift God has given me in all my little children. These last few days I have hugged my kids more and watched their every sweet move in appreciation of who they are and what a blessing each child of God is. She has been a miracle to her family and will also bless other children and families with her great gift as an organ donor.
There is a fund for Lucy, the info is on their family blog http://jacksonparkcity.blogspot.com/

Oh that is so sad. I was just reading about another little boy that died from nothing other than a virus and a fever, and my friend just lost her baby yesterday, too. So sad...

I was so sad to see this. I had just found Vic's blog a couple of weeks ago and passed it along to John and he and John have gotten together once or twice. John said he talked to Vic this morning and they seem to be okay right now. It makes me want to hug my kids forever.

So sad. It's things like this that really burned me out when I worked at Primary Children's. Love your little ones...things can change in an instant. I hope these parents feel some comfort in their horrible loss.

I'm so sorry! And, how scary, I'm always so worried about my kiddos chocking.

That has to be one of the saddest things I've ever heard! That poor little family! It's tragic stuff like this that makes you look at life a little different; and makes you enjoy every moment with your children a little more.
