ANYONE ELSE????

Ever feel like your life and house are falling in around you?

Anyone else ever feel like just yelling "Why can you not eat anything without wearing, smearing or playing in it?!"I did not yell but it was tempting.

Anyone else not have water or electricity due to a remodeling project and find you and your children freezing at the park eating sonic for dinner? It was Applebee's for lunch that day and many other how can I entertain my kids things. My kids loved it and now beg for the park everyday.
Anyone else have lots of don't get me wrong great celebrating to do but are now paying the price in loads of laundry not done and may be up till midnight or later tonight catching up? How would I justify to Lightnings school teacher sending him to school in his jammies or underwear because I just did not have the time to get to his jeans and they are all dirty!

Any one else have a sweet boy leaving their family and a big decision to make on the possibilty of adopting two other boys who need a Mom and Dad so desperatley, but come with some baggage and would disrupt the "BIRTH ORDER" in our home. In some ways I really feel like it is an answer to my prayers but am scared out of my skull about how long it will take for all of us to adjust to such a change. I just feel like if we are going to rock our family boat so to speak let's get it over and done with and move on as a family.
Anyone else take a shower today in their kids bathroom and feel cramped and ticked off that there is no hot water because I used it all doing household chores before I got in the shower. We are on the upswing in our remodel but we are making a lot of changes and that takes time. This is how it looks today. The ceiling has been raised and most of the drywall back up and the new shower is starting to take shape. We moved alot of plumbing including the drain on the shower.
Anyone else look at their toes and think of all the times their husband notices what bad shape the feet are in and just wish that dear husband would buy a pedicure gift certificate for V-day and watch the kiddos why you actually relax for an hour or so by yourself?

Ayone else think linoleum was not such a stupid idea because lets all face it, it is way easier to clean than my grout and tile are? I have not given my floor anything but a vacuum and occasional spot mop in 3 wks... I think? True confessions of a busy Mom.

Anyone else feel like they are best friends with the receptionist at their pediatrician office because really is there any better place to hang out and get to know someone? SERIOUSLY, IT IS GETTING OLD!

Anyone not gone grocery shopping in about 2wks and have to buy their kids lunch because you are officially Mother Hubbard and the cupboard is bare? Sonic and the park anyone?

Aynone else feel like even though life gets crazy and out of control that you would not change it for anything? I DO!!!!!!! I love my family and all it's crazyness!!!!

JUST ANOTHER WEEK IN PARADISE!!!!

I have been right there with you on most of those- except of course the adoption part. Life is crazy sometimes. But we get through it. No harm in having Sonic at the park every once in awhile! I hope the remodeling goes quickly for you. We remodeled our bathroom too. I know how it is. Hang in there.

I am excited to go to the Zoo next week!

Time to get a baby sitter for the weekend and you and your hubby get away for a couple of days! Hire a maid to come in while your gone and let her do the cleaning and laundry!!!

Every time we go through a remodel and stressful times I wish I could do that! But then I come down to earth and realize that it is not going to happen! Well at least you could do is bring the kids over durning the day and take yourself out on a date and treat yourself to a pedicure and lunch!

YES! Not all of the above but YES for Crying out loud! When will it end? And to think, we opted for all this. Cross your fingers that next week will be better.

You know the juicy details of my life...so I'm sure you don't have to ask if I have experienced those...
Good luck! This too shall pass!

Note to DH - Get your wife a pedicure!! She deserves it and more!

All I can say is WOW. And I agree with you, I hate tile in the kitchen. I was always scrubbing grout when we had it.

You know, we haven't done the park for awhile. The last time I remember Connor asking I told him we could when it cooled off...and now it's been months of cool and we haven't been. So putting that on my list - Sonic at the park. I bet your kids loved it. What a great mom!

And love Baby H's flowered shirt. A little girl in preschool had one like it. So cute...where did you get it?

Hope it works out with Smiley, and you can stay doctor free for awhile, and the remodel is over fast.

You are amazing for doing it!! I am so impressed with those who are willing to 'make' their family! My dad and husband are both adopted.

(So is Smiley leaving your family soon?)

You are so funny! Heck, we do Sonic like everyday...but not because we are remodeling, just because I stink at cooking and am lazy at the moment. And I have the largest mountain of laundry as we speak and I am blogging...nice. The jeans for tomorrow are in the dryer though so the kids shouldn't have to go to school in their jammies. LOL! You are a great mom, I can tell. And whatever you decide about adding 2 more, you will do just fine.

Totally feel ya!!! And I am so sick of our family being sick too! This is the FIRST time ever I want it to get hot!!!! Just so I don't have to deal with anyone being sick! Hope your bathroom is done soon:).
