We finally got to use the annual pass we bought for the Zoo. We have had it a couple months now and anytime I planned a zoo trip something got in the way! Yesterday was our day and the kids loved it. Sissy was so excited and not the least bit scared, which surprised me. She is my kid who freaks out and is constantly in panic and run for Mom mode.
Why is it always so hard to pull my kids away from the turtles and ducks you see when crossing the bridge to enter the Zoo and the fish pond just inside? Some times I think "Well if this is all you want to see then FINE, lets take a good long look here and leave." Seriously drives me bonkers!!!
Miss M loves to pose for a camera and lately this is her look of choice. This girl can do the craziest things with her eyes and has also mastered moving only one eyeball at a time. I thought that took years of practice and this goofball was born with this talent!!

Lightning has taken an interest in the camera and wants to take pictures of everything. I had to limit him but here is one of his shots. Not even blurry! Not to bad for a seven year old who barely knows how to use the camera!! OH WAIT... I barely know how it works either so it must be luck!!

whoohoo! that is so fun! i love a zoo membership! i need to renew mine! looks like it was a great time!
My kids want to stand on the bridge all day too! Next time you need a b-day present, Fisher Price makes a fabulous digital camera for kids. I got Connor one at Costco and he loves it! He can even download the pics to the computer, and if he drops it, it just bounces.
I'm so jealous that you are outside at the zoo, in the sunshine, in JANUARY!!! Looks like tons of fun. Your kids are sooo cute!
so I may have the fun snow....but you get to go to the awesome fun ZOO that I love and miss in January! I really miss that about AZ! Looks like lots of fun!
