I also moved Sissy. She rarely ate. Now she has to sit by herself, but she is eating allot more. (clap ,clap, clap) Not so many Distractions from Miss M. They were not even sitting next to each other before, but it did not seem to stop them!! So sad that I had to move her to the table by herself. I also have half the mess. I am grateful for that.
We were sure this little tike(Baby H) was never going to get a tooth or eat solid food. She is almost one!! I am happy to say we are wrong. The poor thing has 5 teeth coming in. Three have barely broken through and two more promise to cause her some pain soon. I don't know what is worse, one at a time or all at once? She rarely fusses. What a trooper!! She learned how to stand up over the fourth of July holiday. While we were on vacation. I don't think she will walk any time soon. I am ok with this, it fools me into thinking she is not really growing up.
Sometimes I am sure I am to hard on my kids. In fact while we were at Disneyland I made it a point to watch how others parented. I learned a ton from just watching. I know I need to lighten up and just enjoy my kids more. We really are blessed to have these wonderful kids. So I came home w/ a new resolve to lighten up. Lightning must have known this because he has challenged me all day. See where he ended up. Yep.. QUIET TIME!!! After he fell asleep, (which he never does during the day)I quickly realized he is just worn out from playing hard with his cousins for 3 days. I am sorry he was banished ,but grateful for his sleep hopefully he will be a little more pleasant the rest of the day. Sorry blurry picture,I did not want the flash to wake him up!!

Yay for Mommy x5!!
These are all great ideas.
Glad that things are going well...
way to go on the creative meal plans! cute divided tray too! i have a hard time remembering too that sometimes when they are being a pill, they are just tired or need some extra attention. then they fall asleep and i realize and fell bad about being cranky. great goal to lighten up! i need to work on that.
These are great, we are going to use some of these I have these problems to.
I bet you aren't as hard on them as you think...of course, I'm not exactly a softy. Glad that your new ideas are working out.
Love the cookie cutter sandwich idea! My boys would love that one! And I doubt you are really that hard on your kids--I think we as mom's are way too hard on ourselves (I know I am) but I do feel good when the boys are being naughty and I can handle it in a really calm way--but then they turn around and are naughty again so I doubt they even listened to the "nice" mommy! Kids--gotta love them! :)
