I only have one who heads out the door every day. This is a double edged sword for me. He has his moments of misbehaving but he is also a huge helper. I won't miss the misbehaving, but I will miss the help!! Miss M will start her afternoon preschool in 2 weeks. The rest are stuck w/good old Mom. I don't think they mind. Lightning was super cute today. He got up picked out his own outfit got his back pack ready to go and then wore it during breakfast and his morning piano practice. I don't think he was excited at all, do you? He was!!! On the way to school he just kept saying "I am so excited, I am so excited". I hope he keeps his enthusiasm all year long. Although in true Lightning fashion he tried to sneak a toy to school in his back pack. To bad his Dad caught him. Poor Miss M is already missing him . She keeps asking when we are going to go pick up Lightning. I sure hope he has a great day!!!

Yeah- the first day of school- so exciting for everybody!
So cute! Don't you wish they would keep this excitement through out all their school years?! Would make it a little easier! Glad he had a good first day!

Wyatt wore his backpack all morning the 1st day. If they could only keep that excitement for the next say 13 years?
