We had so much FUN!!! I loved this trip, and so did the fam. We loaded the car and headed for Kohls Ranch. We love to stay there. It is part of the time share we own, and also offers so much for the kids . We arrived on Friday and got settled in. Saturday we spent on the road. We hung out at Bison Ranch. We did games and crafts w/the kids. We walked the shops and ate yummy ice cream. Miss M. crossed her legs and demanded to be served. She is cute, so she got her way... By late afternoon we were ready for some fireworks. We camped out for the Heber fireworks. The kids had a blast. They made new friends and played football in the dirt. Listening to the kids reaction to the fireworks makes all the effort worth it. Lightning would exclaim every now and again "THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE" of course they were barely off the ground and just a white streak in the sky. He just knew though that this one was his favorite. Miss M. loved anything pink and purple. Baby H.experienced her first 1st fireworks show. She never made a sound, she was mesmerized. I may still have proof of the claw marks she left on my arms,as she hung on for dear life. Smiley and Cissy loved them even though Smiley cried his way through the show.The little man was so tired. My favorite part is listening to the fireworks bounce off the canyon walls.Sunday was our lazy day. I actually got through a whole book up there. The creek is right outside our cabin door and on Monday Auntie C. arrived w/her six kids to play for the day. Watch out water dwellers here come the boys. Grandma and Grandpa D. also came up to stay on Monday night! Love the family time!!! On Tuesday we headed to the fish hatchery and then Grandpa D. Lightning, Auntie M., Cousin Trouble, and GL went fishing and each caught a rainbow trout. Not to be skinned or cooked by me..... much to their dismay! Today before heading home we went to see some great friends who live in Pinetop. The kids played video games and the adults played catch-up. We headed home. What a great vacation and celebration!!!! My family is so grateful for our FREEDOMS!!!!!!!

Looks like you guys had so much fun! I'm so sad we couldn't make it! By the way, Miss M. has got to be the cutest--legs crossed and arms folded--priceless!
Now that looks like a fun time. i wish we had been able to see the Heber fireworks. We just went on the wrong weekend!
