Dang it!

I went the entire summer hardly picking up my camera to document this crazy life we lead. Not for the world to see but for me to remember and mostly for my kids when they get older. I take pics with my phone all the time. I do not love the resolution and need to pull out the big guy more often. I have been trying but I am failing miserably. I need to start a photo a day project. September will be my month. In the meantime we are back to school.
Carter is my first kid in junior high. It has not been to bad. We have a carpool, the school is a ways from our house. Love Carpool! Maybe I won't be saying that when it's my week? He came home the first day all smiles and telling me he made lots of new friends "mostly girls'  He is a handsome kid... what's not to like?

My elementary school kids in their self imposed segregated line. Layne and laughed so hard, no
segregation here. My two little preschoolers. Why won't they stop growing? So far some of my all time favorite parenting moments happen with the toddlers. It's all so new and they are so innocent. I will miss these days!

The self imposed segregated line is my favorite. I bet you are loving having a routine and a little "alone time."

I know what you mean about pulling out the DLSR. I have been really bad about it also. Cellphones are so handy that we don't even think until we are developing our pictures about "the big camera." Maybe, I will do a photo a day with you. :)

I love it when they come home happy from school. The segregated line is too funny! I don't know if I would have even noticed if you hadn't have pointed it out.
