It's been 4 years

 or more since we have had one of these. That is sad. I always get my kids each year together, but I choose to stay away from the other side of the lens.Layne's friend always teases us about our family Christmas card and the parentless children who pictures we send around the world each holiday season. Maybe this year will be different, maybe... My Friend Ashley and her family were heading to town and we made plans to grab family photos of eachothers families. I am so glad we did!


This picture is also a treasure to me. These two will rarely pose together for me and that smile on Carter"s face makes me one happy Mom. He has come so far and changed so much and I could not be more proud of this young man of mine.
