The title really should be. " And they danced, but my Mom took more photos of the fair than she did of me."
Sad, yet very true. I feel no shame either, I don't! We sat in the wrong spot and all my photo opps were bunk. So I made up for it by shooting tons of the fair and playing with the lights. Oh I have a few token shots, but nothing I am willing to share. I instagramed the ripped tights  and bloody knee she got from  Bubba pushing her out of the van. Oh, when Miss M was on stage she was dancin in her street shoes because her genius Mother had her dance shoes safe and sound in her purse in the middle of the audience. I run a tight ship I  am tellin ya. Got it all together around here.....

See, I made an effort. Really, her dance was adorable they danced to Its Bitsy Spider. Let me tell you this girl of mine has some moves. It may be in the genes, I'm just sayin.... We all know that has nothing to do with her folks, well, not these folks any ways.
We only took 4 kids, we are not completely nuts, and those who went had a great time.

We rode that crazy Ferris wheel you see in the background. I am a sissy these days. I got queasy a few times. Who knew? Mr M stood up and took a few photos leaning out. That didn't bother me at all. What in the ????? was he thinking? He really was just wondering when I changed and where was that fun girl he married? Well, she has 8 kids now and does not want to risk raising them alone. We also ate and rode and ate and rode and generally walked our legs to stubs and went home. My kids that went can't stop talking about it today. I call that a success.
