The view from room 411
That would be my sweet Princess Pea admitted to the hospital from a dog bite.We watched the sun come up together from her hospital room this morning.We have been there two days now on IV antibiotics awaiting the decision from a surgeon on whether we will put her under and attack that infection ourselves or wait one more day and hope the antibiotics do there job. They tell me she gets to stay until there is no trace of the REALLY bad bacteria that landed us there. Who said dogs mouths are clean? We even have some warning hanging on our door that if you come in you are taking a risk and must wash up. My friend noticed it, I had not been out of the room since we were banished there. I have one really frightened little girl on my hands. I am exhausted, so Daddy took his turn tonight. I need a shower and some rest. Last report she demanded he watch football with her. Sounds like he has it rough. I however got to come home and deal with the children who had broken DS chargers by tying them to the stair rail and pulling, broken swivel mirror in the girls room because it doubles as a jungle jim. The pen chewed off a Leapster explorer, and my jewelry box raided. I sadly had to explain that animal control could possibly come take C-dogs new companion who is the guilty K-nine, Not pretty.........mmmmhhhhhhh, did I say rest?? I am going back to the hospital........

Oh you poor thing! Hang in there & I hope the inf clears up fast.
Good luck!
Oh my HECK! I am so sorry! I think you should go back to the hospital and let Daddy deal with the others at home. I think you would actually get more rest! : )
Oh, poor baby! I hope it clears up and you can go home. Or maybe you can just stay there yourself after.
Oh no! Not fun for anyone....so sorry. Hang in there, it will all work out in the end! {{HUGS}}
What can we do to help? Jack (11ys) was bitten by a dog a few years ago. 14 staples later, he recovered well and the scars are small now. The neighbors dog was put down afterwords. I hope Princess Pea is doing well emotionally too. That is so scary at any age, but even more when your small.
