It's Over

It's over and I made it!! Last week was hands down the most demanding week I have had in a long time. At the beginning of the week I looked at my planner and thought....... It's just not possible, how did I get myself into this? On top of the normal school and work schedule I had,
5 dental cleaning appt's for kids Little H's first . She was not happy, but did fine:)
 5 photo shoots
 Craft night Christmas Party
 Got the tree decorated, FINALLY
Relief Society Christmas Dinner. I was in charge of getting all the food Phew...... pulled it off! Forgot butter   and lemons. Made two yummy salad dressings! Me, the lady who strongly dislikes cooking. Ok, only because  my family highly under appriciates me for my efforts. We throw out tons of yummy food around here.
2 soccer games. The end of the season (small Mommy happy dance ensued)
 1 dance recital
 Bunko
Zoo lights Foster care night. Bring a gift for some one in need and get in free.
 Baby Blessing
 Editing 5 shoots COMPLETE!! Yeah:)
L's work party, He went alone ( sorry Babe!)  but won a cool DVD player. The same thing I bought him last year.We may end up with a T.V in our room after all. I am not a huge fan of that for lots of reasons.
Took Mom to Scottsdale for a Dr Appt.
Dance class
Scouts
Gymnastics
 Piano
I managed to double book myself and then forget about a photo shoot all together, but it all turned out just fine:) I am so grateful for understanding people!
All this and more were on this family's and my schedule this week and with lots of running around and lots of help, we got it all done.
Do you ever look ahead to stressful times and wonder HOW can I do this? It all seems so overwhelming. I have learned to look ahead and be a really good planner. Take it one thing at a time. If not, I let the stress get to me and I become the Mommy none of my kids want to see. I made an extra effort this week to not take the stress of it all out on my family and I think I did pretty good. A lot of these things had nothing to do with them and they do not deserve to suffer because I have extra on my plate.  It was fun to get to the end of the week and spend some fun time together as a family. I took a few of my kids with me to my Saturday afternoon photo shoot. It's helps to have them at Grandpa K's house where they can run free and I had fun taking pics of them as they played while we were waiting for people to arrive.

This weeks big goal is to get three tutu's made and finally get my Christmas back drop up in my garage so I can photograph my kiddos for our Christmas card and maybe do some christmas mini sessions. We will see.....
