He's SOOO Cute

This kid is so cute and funny these days. He's making up for those times when well, you know what I am talking about. The times when they are not so adorable.

He has figured out how to work almost anything to his benefit.
He talks like a 5 year old.
He caught on just like the other 5 and he clears his spot at the table after each meal.
He does not want to touch his sippy with dirty hands, and will wait till his hands are washed.
When he wants something to eat he doesn't just say can I please. He say's, " Can I please have faffles(waffles) they are soo yummy in my mouth?) That is his favorite for anything he wants to eat it is "yummy in his mouth."
When he hears me tell some one else I love them he quickly reminds me, " Mommy you love me too!"
He has been passed around so much and is so terrified of it that we had to really reassure him he will always come home and so will Daddy and I, so when I am leaving with out him he reminds me,  "You always tome (come) back, right? You keep me Mommy." Sad but amazing, he is only 2/1/2.
He has dressing himself almost down to a tee.
He sleeps in a big boy bed and has since just after he turned two and potty trained himself.
He asks to eat pizza every day, a true boy.
When we head to church he reminds me  "I be quiet at church, you too Mommy." I remember, he forgets.....
I needed to get this all written down before I forget. I need to do it for a few others too......

Oh he is the sweetest thing! I am in love with that little face, and the things he says. The "yummy in his mouth" is adorable, and the "Keep me Mommy" just breaks my heart.

So sweet! I think I'm in love with him!

My little one today was upset when I told her she needed to eat her dinner before she got a donut. She'd spent a few episodes in timeout today for telling me "no" when asked to do something, and I guess she was remembering that when, instead of telling me she wasn't going to eat her dinner, she told me "I don't want dinner mommy, no thank you!"

What a sweetie!! I almost cried reading, that "you always come back mom" part. That is tender! What trust he has in you as his mommy. That must be a wonderful feeling!
2 and 1/2 year olds stage is bitter sweet. Mine gives me a run for my money on a daily basis. hehe
He sure is a cutie!

What a cute little smarty pants! I'm tellin ya, they come down so much smarter than we were. It is amazing what these kids can learn. Tiny little sponges. It is so nice to write this stuff down and tell him all about how awesome he was at 2.
