Mom or Dad?

Do you ever wonder where some of your personality traits come from? I do, but the older I get the easier it is to see just which parent I got what from. My Mom used to tell me that when I get an idea in my head everybody better look out because, come h@&* or high water I was going to find a way to make it happen. It's funny because I got that from her...... I remember several projects around the house that should have waited for my Dad, but Mom wanted them done so she dug her heals in and got them done. I am like her in that regard. Another thing I do is get out my angst by doing physical work. My Dad taught me from a young age how to paint. Yesterday culminated the end of a pretty bad week, and I could think of no better way to work off my frustrations than to paint my kitchen. I have wanted to paint it for a while any way. I called my Brother, looked at his color charts and he ordered my paint at his discounted price and he dropped it off for me. Thanks Damon!! I started about 3 or so taping my kitchen and by midnight it was a whole new world. I used to have before pics but I can't find them so all you get is after. It used to be tan. Now it's a new shade of green. I don't like my tile but hey, I don't get everything I want........ If I got what I wanted you would see wood floors. Money better spent elsewhere these days. I am glad I did it. I LOVE it! I Guess I better, I am in no mood to repaint it any time soon. I still have to repaint my family room, gotta get rid of the non washable flat paint. I have six kids after all. The two don't mix.
