ENOUGH!!!!!

My heart can NOT take any more!!!Everyone has one kid at least one who is more adventuresome, clumsy, daring, and or just plain WILD.
Mine is this guy....
Photobucket
If he doesn't give us a good scare once a month he has not done his job.
I was on the phone with the man of the house last night when I hear over the cry of another child in time out, the sound of his head hitting the tile. I don't panic it's happened too many times. I look up to see him coming at me gasping for air with no sound coming out. Eyes rolling back in his head, lips purple. I frantically tell my hubby whats going on and to get home. I run to my little guy and start breathing in his mouth and trying to keep him with me. I realize I really have trouble and dial 911 and then my sis in-law. She lives down the street and can man the troops while I am helping my "WILD THING."
The paramedics and ambulance arrive about the time he starts to pull out if it and be more himself. They give me some advice and tell me to take him in some where to have him checked. I sign the ambulance refusal sheet and when Daddy got home me and Aunt C head out to the door to urgent care. I tell them our story. The Dr. gives me the once over for not sending him by ambulance to the ER, He has clear liquid running out his nose. He hit on his left temporal lobe. Huge artery there that could have been affected. In short he thinks he may have cracked his skull or ruptured a artery so off we go to the ER. We entered a mask filled waiting room. Darn swine flu or flu of any kind. We hung out there till late in the night being checked out. The ER doc decided against a CT Scan and opted for x-rays first. They came back negative for any skull fracture or any other problem.
THANK HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When we got home we both crashed and I am up early while he sleeps soundly. I have to make sure he is breathing.
What a night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good job on how you handled the situation.

Good grief. Make sure that someday you show him the wrinkles and gray hair he's giving you. :)

Maybe you could convince him to wear a little bicycle helmet all the time to keep that little noggin safe from bumps?!
