TOO Much Fun

Is that really possible?
If it's not, than we have been having tons of fun lately.
I get cabin fever real easily and just have to get out. I also don't like that famous phrase we all used to torture our Moms with when we were kids, "I'm Bored!!" Lightning has that one on repeat play even during the school year, so when we have any kind of break I am planning ahead. No relaxing at home and playing it by ear. We get out of the house and keep busy. It helps me and him too.
We started our weekend off with a trip to the Zoo

With our good friends over at onehm's house.
We did,
B-day lunches,
(Happy Birthday Cajsa!)
Dance classes,
A baseball game,
Waxed clients,
I'm limping, I stubbed three of my toes.
The highlight of our fun weekend though was the annual Easter pic nic and egg hunt we go to with our dear friends the Kerseys, and all their family.
Joke was on us......
Thanks Mother Nature. It looked like this

It was pretty to look at, but it was freezing cold and wet. We almost didn't go. I am glad we did.
The kids played in the mud,

They wore the evidence from head to toe. It was a mess!

It was hard to get warm, and the novelty wore off quickly.
They got lucky and scored a movie inside for a little while, at least until the rain slowed to a tiny drizzle.
Photobucket
I of coarse, had to take a million pictures. Don't worry they are not all posted.

Then it was time to hunt for eggs and get hyped up on sugar.

We had TOOOOO Much fun, and we still have Easter to celebrate with our family. Lots of food and sugar. More eggs and fun. I have really tried to stress this year with my kids that Easter is really about our Savior, Jesus Christ and the rest is just fluff. Our story time tonight was all about Jesus and the real meaning of Easter.
Happy Easter Everyone!!!!

I told Warren to grab the camera from the computer desk, he said it wasn't in there, so we got no pictures at Grandma's except those taken by my Sister in Law. But Lo, I am here in front of the computer, and wha'ts this in the computer desk??? The very camera that Warren said was not there earlier. Maybe he couldn't find it conveniently enough since he was the one who dressed the kids in the morning, the most mismatching clothes ever! (JR was wearing a Halloween shirt.) I let the kids pick between two outfits usually, then they dress themselves.

Good job keeping busy. I was REALLY wanting just to have a relaxing break. I dont think I will have any down time any where in the near future!

We had rain here to for ours....but we are still used to the cold! It does look like they still had some fun. Amazing how candy makes everything better?! :)
