Our Redneck FHE

Family home evening was so fun last night. We went with some friends to the river to play.
Photobucket
They may not want to share the redneck title with us. They were prepared. I was NOT.
Photobucket
We ate dinner on blankets and swam, some clothed, some not..... There was no skinny dippin, but there was a ride home naked as a jaybird for some.
The scary part was realizing Lightning dropped his borrowed towel and was playing ball in the front yard in is how I came to earth suit.
WHAT!!!!!!
I guess the towel just got in his way.
I was so embarrassed, and he could care less. Isn't it bad enough to have half your family naked on the front porch waiting for Dad to open the door, with out having the one who should know better bare all to the passing crowd. I guess if we had tall grass, weeds and a few broken down cars it would not have mattered. No one would have seen a thing, we don't! Imagine what our neighbors have been saying today about how we raise our chillins. let em talk,right.......

I am laughing and it because I am glad it was you not me:) But, Hey what wrong with being a redneck once in a while?

Sounds like you all had a good time otherwise. What a good idea for FHE! Love it!

You probably have the ward taking up a collection of clothes for you right now.

Too funny.

LOL, that's great! I remember swimming in a place called "Cow Creek" in CA. I swam in my clothes. My dad also bought us all tubes once and dropped us off upstream in the same creek, and we got out at the point we'd swam in before. I'm having an urge to go water rafting lately for some reason. Off I go to check prices for the summer.

Someone's got to give the neighbors something to talk about right?

Too cute.

I stalked over from Devri's blog.
I wanted to say how beautiful your children are and what awesome pictures. Do you take them yourself and what kind of camera do you use?
