What do you when there is no school,
And all your kids are bored?
Do you sit at home, or get out and roam?
We get out and roam.
A few of us did any way. Lightning had his cousin Talmage over to play and Dad had to work, so a sitter came and watched the boys while the girls went to The Desert Botanical Gardens.
I know what your thinkin, not much fun..... it is when it's free, thanks to Target, and when they have a Chihuly display. Our Friends M&M got tickets for us. Do you know what a chihuly is?
It's an amazing display of blown glass. They are glass sculptures, like this,
They were amazing!!
The girls had so much fun. It was great because they could pretty much run free,
and did.
They got to meet a Target super star, got free balloons in their favorite shapes, asked if they could help clean the glass. They were told no, of coarse, but did get to clean a bench.
To bad they are not this excited to clean at home.What a fun morning, thanks M for the great idea!!!!!!

How cool is that Chihuly? We went there once when they had a butterfly display. It was really fun.

How awesome! I for one LOVED the bontanical gardens....coming from the great NorthWest where NONE of those things live...it was amazing to me and soooo fun to photograph....I would love to go back, and those glass sculptures are amazing! What a fun day!
So Fun! What a good way to spend the day:) Chantel will be so jealous, she has been wanting to see the glass exhibit there.
