Hope everyone had a FABULOUS New Year !!!!!!!! We laid low. For the first time in a LONG time we stayed home for New Years. We had fun company over. We ate and talked and quietly saw a new year roll in. My kids were all in bed. Lightning was kind of miffed when he realized he slept through the end of 2008. They are used to being up and out with us for New Years. We quickly regained his favor and all of the other munchkins when we let them have free rain of all the leftover junk food and doughnuts from our little gathering. Yep, I let them have their fill of junk food, and that was all they had for breakfast. I am just making sure I am out of the running for Mother of the year again this year. I guess now it's time to finally take down the Christmas decor and get back to life as usual.

A Quiet Celebration
