NEXT...

Does anyone else feel that way? What is next? We have just conquered Miss M and Sissy's bed time antics, and then look whats next. Lightning came out two nights ago saying Bubba could climb in and out of his bed. OH YIPEEE!!(sarcastic) He came out last night and informed us that he knocked over his dresser while exercising his new found freedom. So we go running back and there he stands back in his crib a very proud boy who has managed to avoid being crushed by the dresser. We are grateful for that:) So this weekend we will be putting up the toddler bed and starting to train the next little munchkin to stay in his bed. I am hoping a Lightning McQueen bed set will help. This kid is in love with his "Cars" characters and will do almost anything for his beloved "MC Queen, MC Queen" I had to see how he does this little trick so I asked him to show me. Great trick buddy thanks for the show!! Man, do I always sound so LAMO like this when I am talking to my kids?

bummer.

He's smarter than my kids...at least he climbs out safely. My kids just manage to flip themselves out with the biggest thud you've ever heard. I'm really quite surprised they didn't give themselves a closed head injury or broken neck. Of course, they only do it once, then their crib escape days are over! Well, it did take twice for Jared...the little dork! :)

Have fun with the toddler bed....sorry about the loss of parental freedom. ;)

I am SO SORRY!!
I know your pain...seriously, you got more time than I did. :)

We still sleep in the crib at our house (as you know) but I just keep the side down. Just an idea if you are not ready to buy another bed.

He worked hard to learn that new trick to share with you. You should be proud of him. :) He's so cute - I've found that using duct tape works to keep my children in their beds. Just a thought! :)

I guess that saying holds true...Where there's a will, there's a way! He's so-o proud of himself!

I feel for you because they think they are ALL that- after this major feat.

funny- only because it's not my kids. I don't like the crib-to-toddler bed transition. I love that he is so proud of his trick. what a cutie!

Special times for sure!

But how can you be mad at such a proud little grin?!
