EXHAUSTED

I am so tired!!!!! I left for Utah yesterday and spent the afternoon hanging out with my Aunt and Uncle.. We relaxed and went out to dinner and stayed up talking. I had to get up really early to drive to Park City for Lucy's funeral. I stopped for some caffeine and made it in more than enough time. I met some amazing friends there, some I see often and some I have not seen in years. It was so fun to hang out and catch up. I just wish it was under better circumstances. The sweetest thing about this experience was seeing how the Lord sustains his children during such difficult times. I was amazed at the courage and grace Molly and Vick showed us all. Vick did a beautiful job with Lucy's life sketch. I think the hardest part was seeing sweet Lucy in her tiny casket and yet how wonderful to know she is with her Heavenly Father.I wish I had brought my camera because there were so many amazing moments in this experience that I would have loved to document. When the funeral was over and we were gathered outside before leaving to the cemetery we each let off a pink balloon for Lucy and it took my breath away when one balloon hung around for a while like Lucy was telling us she was there.I could not wait to get home to my family and hug all my kids. I am so GRATEFUL for Layne who so willingly stayed home with the kids so I could go !!!!
