PLAYING CATCH-UP

Where to start?? I would not say that my SB was really relaxing. I had tons of kid drama all week Q-Ball became a resident at our house which involves a lot of people in and out of our home and some pretty intense meetings. Layne took Carter to see the Spiderwick Chronicles and the next night I took Carter, Emmi and Sissy to see Horton Hears a Who.

We got to play at the park with our cousins one afternoon. The week was not a total loss just a little crazy. My uncle Harvey came in on Friday from Idaho and he and one of his daughters and her kids came to play and spend the day. Onehm took some pics of the women in my family. I can not wait to see them!!!! My kids love music and love to dance and we turn tunes on at least once or twice a day and dance away together and how cute that these two decided to be dance partners. A little DIAPER DANCIN...

ON TO EASTER
We had a fun Easter!! We went to church and found what fun prizes the Easter Bunny left after church. My side of the family comes over for a Easter egg hunt and dinner every year.

We colored some eggs and tried to let Mom take some pics of us in our Easter gear. I have decided the difference between a picture and a photograph is SKILL. I have none so I just take pictures people who have skills take Photographs. Enjoy the "pics"!!

Emmi was squeezing Smileys hand to keep him from running away. A picture of all six kids together...yeah right!!
Look at these cute Cousins finding and checkin out their treasures. This is our little Brady.
Riley found her eggs and decided to play. Dang she is sure CUTE!!!
THIS WEEK
Today was Sissy's first day of preschool. I know it is late in the year but she had to do all the qualifying first. She is in the early learners program and finally is getting speech therapy. YEAH!! This girl loves her Daddy and he made sure he did not miss out on her first day
This is her I am being brave shot. She did a great job and is even asking to ride the bus. I can not take and pick her up everyday so thankfully she gets her wish and the bus starts picking her up on Friday. She will be gone three mornings a week. I really missed her today. It is always a little hard to see them gain that needed independence and time away.

EMBARRASSING MOMENT
I thankfully have no picture for this but it has to be told. I bought a tank top this weekend while Easter shopping and when I left the store I beeped. No one came to check me out so I left. I beeped going in and out of the next few stores. Again no one bothered me but I still thought it was weird. I checked the clothes I bought and could not find the security tag that the stores put on so I went home. Sure enough when I got home I found one still attached to my tank top so last night I head back to the store to have it removed, because with my luck I would get the blasted ink everywhere or whatever it is they try and scare shoplifters with. I pull the tank out of my purse and notice to my horror BOOGERS all over the shirt. I just grabbed it and ran out of the house with out looking. I was so EMBARRASSED to have to explain to the lovely lady at the counter that my little sweet Emmi takes a nap in my room and must have been to lazy to get up and get a Kleenex and saw my tank top hanging from the closet door and made it into a hankie. I was mortified as she bravely took the temporary hankie with boogers all over it and took the security device off, handed it back as fast as she could and made a beeline for the back of the store while I tried to get out the front as fast as I could. Nice huh?? Wish you were me don't ya?!!!!!

I can't believe Sissy is big enough to go to school and ride the bus! She looks so cute though.

Yeah- that is pretty embarrasisng. At least you have a good story to tell! :0)

Now - every time you wear the tank top you can remember that it used to be a booger shirt. Andrew found that to be pretty funny - he was a pretty gross kid too.

Cute Easter pics! Looks like you all had fun! And that's great that sissy is starting school. Enjoy the breathing room and freedom while she is getting what she needs! :)

Too bad about the shirt....I always find nice treats like that on the side of the leather couch...ewwwww. Lazy bums are too involved in a dumb TV show to get a tissue...blech!

Was Horton good? Good enough to hold the attention of a 6, 4, and 2 year old? (Who am I kidding, nothing is good enough to hold the attention of a 2 yo!)

Laughing so hard about the shirt!! I would've been embarrassed too! All cute pics of the kids. Glad you got to have some fun along with the chaos. And I love your idea of the EB coming while you're at church. No sugar highs before church, no rushing to get it over with to make it to early morning church...good idea!

That shirt incident is too funny! It's always embarrassing enough to have to go back to have them remove a tag and look like you "5 finger discounted" it, but covered in boogies....that's hilarious! Kids are great!

Super cute pics!

Thanks again for letting me in on your private blog! :)

I have a tank top that I look at and smile every time. It had "blood and guts" and ooze on it. I have washed it but it was what I wore when two of my babies were born. I know not quite the same.

Ok - how fun!! ALL of it! I've been out of the Blog-world for a while and I've missed it. You don't show up on my reader now that you are private. I'm gonna have to remember to check up on you now. :) But so fun to read about your life! Thanks for the invite!

Love the Easter dresses on the girls. Ya, the whole picture thing is something Keith would do. I have to remind him that picture mean a lot to me. I always worry about doing that with the security ink things. Miss ya. Hope things are going well.
