With so many little ones I have hardly had time to tend to my little blog. Little man J went on an overnight visit Saturday afternoon until Sunday. I felt so free I loaded up the other five and took them on an outing to Toys R Us. We bought a fun little slide and spent Saturday evening outside with the kids watching their little faces light up with laughter. Lightning got to play kickball with Daddy and he was in heaven. Baby H would not go down the slide but was happy to stand at the bottom and slow everyone down.
Our remodel is going slowly but surely. My poor brother has been sicker than a dog and has not worked on it in a week now. GL got a good deal on this new vanity from Costco for $200.00 smackers. When my Brother gets back on his feet he will remove the one we had all ready installed re-tile the hall bathroom and install it in there

. He really only has to install the new vanity and tile the shower put fixtures and we are done with my bathroom and then we will move onto the next one. We were not planning to do anything to the hall bathroom right now but well, why we are in remodel mode we'll just keep going.

Today (Tues.), the sweetest and most random of things happened. GL forgot to take his wallet to work and was supposed to bring home milk and diapers. I dropped Miss M and her friend off at dance class and made a mad rush to Costco to get what we needed. GL was just getting off of work so he helped me and was walking me to the car when we noticed a old man following us out of the store. I thought it was odd but I was in a hurry to load the car and get home before Miss M arrived back from dance. He struck up a conversation with GL while I was unloading the cart of kids and groceries. He mentioned how many kids we had and Lightning mentioned we were even missing one. The nice old man began to compliment us and tell us about his Grand kids and how amazing children are. He asked us how we do it and GL gave all the credit to me. (GOOD MAN!!) He then pulled a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL out of his pocket and said he wanted our family to have a Happy Easter. GL and I kept refusing the money and he would not leave so we finally graciously took the money. I cried....What kindness!!!!

Anyway, does your brother tile showers for a living? or is he just doing it on the side? we are looking for someone to tile our shower.

YAY on your bathroom. YAY for a new slide.

Also, your bathroom is looking really good!
I love the vanity. What a great deal. The kids are adorable.
okay so could i borrow your kids for a costco run? lol! HOW AWESOME!
Love the vanity! What a sweet old man, too! My goal is to be able to be like that one day. Just seeing people who would need/appreciate it and be able to help them out. I need to win the lotto first, but wouldn't that be so fun to be able to just give money away?
