FAMILY FUN

What a fun family filled busy Saturday we had. We got up and started our day w/chores. This is always how Lightning figures out Saturday has rolled around again. We all take part, in fact Daddy mopped the kitchen floor today. Yeah for Daddy!!!!!!! One of our M&M cousins is officially a Lawyer. He passed the Bar Exam and we are so proud of him. We went to his party at the park where we played ate and played some more.

We then headed to Lightnings last soccer game until Spring. I just thought it was so cute that my two kiddos held hands all the way to the car. I love these little moments that help remind me that they really do like each other!!!
GL and Lightning headed off to watch the ASU game w/ Uncle B and and a few of his boys. I am sure Auntie CS watched too. I got to stay home w/the little nappers and read and nap a little myself!! When the boys came home we were playing outside while dinner cooked. The boys got to play a little ball together.

Baby H got to play outside on her own for the first time today! She is still not walking and well, I am lazy sometimes and just have not wanted to deal w/giving her a bath every time she comes in from playing. Also I was afraid I could never take my eyes off of her for fear she would eat the rocks and choke. I felt bad that everyone else gets to enjoy the nice weather and our winter grass I was so excited to have, so I gave in. I quickly remembered she does not like the feel of grass on her little toes! So where did she head? Yep for the rock slash dirt part of our yard and I had just taken her pants off to change her diaper and not put them back on.

OH WELL... It was too much fun watching her explore this part of her world she had only seen from a window or from behind the kid gate. All our old toys were fun and new to her. She had a great time figuring out how to use them.
Here she is taking a rest. Look at those legs, a sure sign of a good time! A bath was most certainly in her near future.

Looks like Sissy had a great time too. You know she is happy when she sports the gummy grin for you! We all came in got cleaned up and had a fun family dinner and then it was bedtime for all the chillens and some well deserved R&R for Mom and Dad.

Love those chubby little legs! It's hard to just let it go sometimes and let them make the mess or get dirty, isn't it? One of the reasons I hate Play-doh! Sounds like a fun day!!

Dont you love days like that. It's nice to see the kids busy and having fun instead of watching tv all day or complaining "I'm bored"
