This sweet boy has had an extremely hard time coping w/life lately and so today my amazing Dad took him to his soccer game and then out for ice cream and a SUBTLE chat. My Dad was adopted by his step Mom at age 5 and can relate to my boy. I am so grateful for this blessing. Lightning just loves his G-pa. Thanks Dad, I love you too!!

Baby H has learned a new trick. Yes a few new words and walking w/her hands and feet(Bum in the air) have happened this week, but seriously who taught her to slap the wall behind her crib when she is ready to get out of it? I call her my little princess. She must have taken that to heart and has now become a little demanding. She pounds and pounds and when I open the door she smiles and says one of her new words "hello". this is so stinkin cute but is going to have to stop!!

I am sick and my husband had to work today. THIS STINKS!!!!!! I think Miss M got pink eye from preschool. How can I explain another missed Sunday to the YW's President. I am really not a slacker, I just have lots of little ones and that is my reality!!

Sorry you hubby had to work today. Mine always seems to be gone when I'm sick, or he gets sick at the same time. Moms never get sick days off, do they? So glad your little man has your understanding Dad - what a blessing! And I'm LOL about the little princess!
BTW - thanks for your latest comment on my blog. Nice to hear from someone who knows what that environment can be like!
Those are total model pictures, I love it
I am so sorry about all you've been going through. I hope that my words have helped and not been more trouble than they were worth!
Yay for Baby H! And I hear ya on the princess thing...we've got two and a couple of "princes" as well!
Your kids are so easy to get great pics of- they are so photogenic and ADORABLE on top of it!!
;o)
That is so cute Baby does that! I am glad that lightning has your dad to talk to. That must be a blessing. Sorry you were sick!
don't you just love sick kids on Sunday? It makes you feel so bad that you can't go to church but then you don't want to get all the other kids sick....it's a hard situation--believe me I've been there. Hopefully things get better soon. Glad that your son has a great example to look up too....it's makes life so much easier. You're a great mom to these kiddos--even if they might be a little demanding! :)
i know how you feel about missing church stuff, it is hard with little ones but believe me everyone understands.
hope things get better with your big guy.
that does stink! hope you are having a better day. i hate to be sick and have to take care of the kids all alone. hope your dad's chat does lightning some good! big adjustments going on.
