WHAT A TRIP!!!!

What a fun vacation !! We had a trip full of ups and downs, mainly ups. Our first stop was my Grandparents house in Oak city,Utah. My Grandparents had never met our brood. I was so excited to introduce them to their Great G-parents.

Here is baby H w/Great G-pa D.

Miss M w/Great G-ma D.

We headed to Orem next. I can not believe we did not take any pictures of Auntie L and Uncle R. We stayed at their house all week. I just love my Aunt and Uncle!!! Auntie L was nice enough to put up with the whole crew. My Mom, my Brother Jez, his Wife, his Daughter, and all seven of us were on this trip. We all bunked at her house. I don't know if she could be labeled kind or crazy? maybe both...

We ventured out a lot. Temple square was a hit w/all the kids. They had been asking to go there for a long time. We have been teaching them about the temple and being sealed as a forever family. When baby H's adoption is final we will take all 3 to be sealed to us at the same time.

This is priceless. Smiley was mesmerized by the Christus. I will always wonder just how much these little ones know...

One of our family outings was to Thanksgiving Point. They have an awesome dinosaur museum and a petting zoo. If you are ever visiting Utah w/kids and need to find some fun things to do, put this one on your list. They can play on the computers and have hands on fun. They have a water room w/ play dinosaurs and tress and wet sand. My kids had to be begged to leave that room!

They got over it when they hit the next fun room where they got to play like they were on a real dig. Lightning was in heaven trying to find as many dinosaur parts as he could. This was SUPER COOL!!!!! Sissy was not impressed at all. We had to keep her w/us, she screamed every time she got put in the sand. I guess she will not be a Palaeontologist.

This girl loves animals just not the dead and buried kind. We headed out to pet the animals and ride the ponies. Sissy rode several times. No fear here, she was in her element! Poor animals, she could not keep her hands off them. Look at that smile!!!! A nice change if you ask me.

The not so fun part of the trip came on Thursday. Yep!!! car accidents w/six kids and your Mom in the car tend to put a damper on vacation fun. No one was hurt and as you can see the damage was minimal. We did however lose our rear air in the little crash and bang part of our trip. Lucky for my kids and my Mom the front air did the job on the way home!

We were not down for long. That afternoon we headed to see my friend Sweet A and her two fabulous kids. My kids had a blast. Friday my Aunt and Mom watched the kids and we went out w/ Jez and B to Goodwood for some delish viddles. Saturday the kids had a blast playing in this cool backyard bouncer. I have got to get me one of these.

This was a pretty long vacation and I would pack up and do it again tomorrow! We had so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. What fun! You are such a "go-er"...
I still can't believe you got hit. Bummer about the air. Maybe C-dawg can fix that for $15 as well, ya think?

Since this is the first time I've read your blog, I'm so curious about the story of your kids!

Without even knowing it I am quite humbled by what you are doing since there are days when I am barely handling being a mom to three kids and they are four and five years apart!

Sounds like you had a great trip. We loved Thanksgiving Point. Next time you come to Utah you should check out the Dinosaur Museum in Ogden. It's pretty spectacular too!
