Every family has their own opinion on ear piercing. My Dads policy was not until us girls were thirteen. This is clearly not the policy at our house. I took all three of my girls today and got their ears pierced. They did great!!! Miss M and Sissy did not even shed a tear. Baby H threw a mini tantrum and stopped once she realized I was still holding her. Her last well visit was more traumatic. As Baby H was getting her ears pierced a lady walked out of the store w/her daughter. She walked slowly and glared at me the entire time. She looked as though she thought I was a child abuser. What Gives? These are not her children and this was not her decision to make. Sissy's Bio-Mom has asked on several occasions if we would have her ears pierced. GL and I talked about it and decided we would get all three girls done at one time. They will be wearing this set of earrings for a LOOOOONG TIME. When they each individually become old enough and responsible enough they will be allowed to make their own earring choices. My sweet little girls are so proud of their "pretties" as they call them. Miss M and Sissy can not stop talking about them and showing them off to any one who will pay attention. I of course had my camera handy for some before, during, and afters.

Awesome! I am totally for piericing those little ears by 3 months old!!!! i just need a girl to torture! Some people just need to mind their own business--i LOVE the new look these cute little girls are showing off! :)
i am all about getting it done young too! my first was 5 days old! they look so pretty! and i am all for wearing the studs forever! that is all my girls wear! how exciting! to all get theirs done. and I'll tell ya, i got mine double pierced one night with my mom and sister for family night when i was 8! until of course the prophet came out with only one set! and i really think that if you already have the holes you should still be able to wear them, but i don't. yay for your girls glad they were excited! they look so pretty!
I love it! Miss M. Seems pretty proud of hers! How fun! I love little girls and all the bling that comes with them!
don't you just love how people with older kids think that us with the younger ones have to do things the way do. ya so annoying about that lady.
i say your decision. it seems like samantha was about that age when we got hers done.
and they are so pretty
I'm one of those "wait 'till your 13"...or whenever you can take care of them YOURself. But they sure are cute on little girls.
What a fun "Girl" outing! I am a child abuser as well. Even worse, I took all three of my girls when they were 2 months old and did it. I drew the biggest crowds every time of "HATERS". I just whispered in my baby girls ears how pretty it was going to be!! And it is so fun. They love their earings, and so do I. Don't feel bad, you just joined my club!
Every girl needs a little bling!! How fun!! I had to wait until I was 8. But until then I tried gluing everything I could on my ears to make them look like pierced earrings. And I hate parents who can't mind their own business. I hope you glared right back at her!
Good for you. And might I say brave for taking all three. The first one had it easy. I feel bad for the third one who had to watch the first two get it done. I haven't been brave enough yet to do my little one. I'm afraid she would yank them out.
So cute! Whatever to the lady who gave you a dirty look, it's none of her business. I think they look pretty!
I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!
Just kidding. After our conversation on the phone today, I just couldn't resist!
They all are so darn cute...
Can't wait to see the "bling" in person!!
That's Great! They look so cute!
I love it!
i love little girlies with pierced ears!
Our policy at our house is as soon as they ask for it. (For the girls not the boys)But when they ask Dane has agreed to make it a daddy daughter date right away. Your girls look so cute.
They look so cute & were so brave! I wish my hubby & I agreed on this one but he thinks they should be older. I on the other hand think it's so cute! And, it seems like there is always someone to judge others no less a stranger!
More Power to you! Who cares what the crazy lady at the mall thought! Your girls will be even more adorable with their new bling!
I totally love them. My girls all have their ear's done too. Its is just one more fun reason to have little girls. My dad was super strict on this too but thats why we have kids so we can do it our way right?
i love it! I love pretties - in fact i really think little girls should come with them already done!!! i can't believe they did as well as they did! hey - i want to know how / where you got your cutest background for your blog. let me know
thanks
