SUNDAYS.

Can I just vent a little? Sundays w/afternoon church are hard w/little ones. Our church is smack dab, dead on, nail on the head NAP TIME. The two babies get a morning nap. Smiley is starting to out grow those UGH....... I can never guarantee he did more than just play happily in his crib. He is such a content child. So needless to say church is a grouch fest and if we are lucky a slight nap occurs in your arms. The Kiddos get super hungry because we eat a early lunch so Sissy and Miss M can try to get a little sleep before church. I always feel like A clown in a circus act in sacrament meeting. When it's finally over I am exhausted and then the fun really begins. This little princess pictured here hates nursery.
She screams so loud she can be heard the entire building around at times. Ok, I am sending her into a room full of toys ,treats, and fun. How bad could it be? In her eyes it's a torture chamber. So we have tried it all staying w/her , just leaving her, and even the sneak out method. None work!! I swear she has a tracking device attached somewhere. GL teaches sunday school and I am in YW's. So we never have uninterrupted lessons. Just not going is not an option at our house. I really want to be a good example. It's just crazy!!! Sunday is not a day of rest for me. Don't get me wrong, I know it's no cake walk for anyone else either. I just needed to vent.

Totally agree--church is so hard with kids! C usually won't go to primary without a fight--but this week he just walked right in and sat down with a big smile on his face--he must have actually missed church for the past 6 weeks!!! Hope it gets better for you--I know how hard it can be.

bummer you both have good callings. that you have to be in. I really think it all depends on the teachers too! great nursery leaders make all the difference sometimes.

oh the joys of church with kids. I have a hard enough time with my two- can't imagine what it is like for you! One day we will look back and miss these days!
